Dyslexia Assessment and Report

Service Description

Assessment: A comprehensive Dyslexic assessment that will explore all aspects of the skills needed for reading: Phonemic Awareness, Phonics, Vocabulary, Fluency and Comprehension. Report: Once the assessment is completed, there will be a report provided that describes the testing that occurred and how your child scored and a comparison to expected scores. The report will be explained in depth and given to you to utilize within the school setting to ensure that you are able to move forward with information for your child's school. If you choose, we also provide support in these meetings either in person, via Zoom or just preparing you for them. With this useful information, you can jumpstart the personalized plan and process for individualized tutoring to meet your child's needs. You will also be in a position to make an informed decision if you would like to have your child further evaluated outside of the school setting. Support to Follow: A personalized plan, using researched-based best practices will be created and put into action. This process helps to increase phonics, phonemic awareness, vocabulary, fluency and comprehension. As reading is a complex set of skills, it is essential; to evaluate all aspects of a child's ability.

Cancellation Policy

When guardians bring their child to the Peach Pit, they acknowledge and agree that their child has permission to freely socialize or participate in activities organized by the Peach Pit. Guardians understand and acknowledge that there are inherent risks associated with these activities, including but not limited to, physical injury, illness, and property damage. Guardians accept full responsibility for any such risks and release The Peach Pit, 07760, its staff, volunteers, and affiliates from any and all liability, claims, demands, and actions arising out of or related to my child’s participation in the club’s activities. Guardians understand that it is their responsibility to ensure that their child follows all safety instructions and rules provided by the Peach Pit's staff and that failure to do so may result in my child’s dismissal from the activities without refund. Guardians hereby waive any right to pursue legal action against the Peach Pit and its affiliates for any injuries, damages, or losses sustained by their child while participating in free social time or activities. By registering my child, I agree to these terms and conditions.
