Service Description

A unique, convenient and engaging summer experience. Let's get ready for 3rd & 4th grades! These are crucial years for cleaning up and strengthening those foundational skills and getting ahead before the start of middle school. We use research-based best practices for the development of skills, confidence and overall well being. Students will have an opportunity to engage in activities and socialize and collaborate in a way that improves their cognitive, physical and social skills; which they will need for studying, working and building relationships. In addition, to incorporating 3rd & 4th grade readiness activities into our time together, each day will focus on a different area of the arts/extracurricular whether it be music, drama, STEM, sports/dance or art. We will allow for structured-freedom which helps children build connections in their brain to lay the groundwork for cognitive growth. Students will engage in age-appropriate, hands-on learning in an environment where they are encouraged to take risks and try new things with their peers. Instruction will be personalized to meet every child right where they are. We will wind down every day with a read aloud and short discussion and reflection of our time together.
