Service Description

PreK Extended Day at the Peach Pit! 11:30 - 1:30 (cost of materials included) We are offering a pickup at dismissal service to bring the littles over to the Peach Pit for an afternoon of fun and enrichment. Students will have a healthy lunch (ordering ahead options available) and two hours of developmentally essential, purposefully and thoughtfully planned activities for the development of skills, confidence and overall well being. After lunch, students will have an opportunity to play in a way that improves their cognitive, physical and social skills which they will need for studying, working and building relationships. Each day will focus on a different area of the arts/extracurricular whether it be music, drama, STEM, sports/dance or art. Structured-freedom helps children build connections in their brain to lay the groundwork for cognitive growth. In addition, we will always incorporate Kindergarten readiness activities into our time together. Students will engage in age-appropriate, hands-on learning in an environment where they are encouraged to take risks and try new things with their peers. Instruction will be personalized to meet every child right where they are. We will wind down every day with a read aloud and short discussion and reflection of our time together.
