Service Description
We are lucky to have Peter Lyden joining our team. His experience covers the four sectors of American civil society, in the for-profit and not-for-profit arenas, government, and journalism. He has worked as a print and broadcast reporter, corporate lobbyist and government affairs professional in the technology and healthcare fields, chief public information executive in a state Cabinet office, radio announcer, and small business owner. The past few years, he's taken that life experience to the classroom as a high school social studies teacher, encouraging the next generation to find their own voices and places in our society where they can be comfortable and confident as he is in front of audiences of all shapes and sizes – - small casual groups of friends and associates, - professional organizations and public meetings, - elected and appointed officials and their staffs, from mayors and councils to state governors and US senators and representatives - and crowds of several thousand people gathered for concerts and community events. "Of all the classes I’ve taught, I can say without a doubt that my students have had the best time, and the most fun, in Public Speaking - certainly more fun than AP US History. I hope to have the privilege of bringing this essential life skill to the most important people in your life as well." - Peter Lyden
